
117a St George’s Road is a residential ‘infill’ block of nine contemporary apartments with parking and associated amenity areas. The triangular development plot was vacant land left over from extensive development of the area.
It is a great example of creative solutions on a difficult site. To maximise the potential of the site, the building has been designed to follow the shape of the site. The massing of the building has been cleverly broken up with the addition or subtraction of volumes, as well as using contrasting colours, materials and textures.
