2-3 Royal Crescent

2-3 Royal Crescent, Cheltenham

Royal Crescent is a Grade II* listed building and the oldest Regency Crescent in Cheltenham built between 1806-1811. The practice received a civic award for the design work, which enabled the complete refurbishment and reinstatement of elements such as sash windows, v-groove rustication of the lower half of the elevation, internal panelling and detailing of regency trim.

It was used at the time as the local Labour Hall, however it would originally have been residences for prominent families. The developer initially wanted to convert it back to residences, but financing rule changes dictated commercial use.
