Ian formed Ritchie and Ritchie Architects in 2008, following the retirement of Ken Haden from the previous practice, Haden Ritchie Partnership. The practice joined the BHB Architects Group in November 2021 and has a varied workload encompassing a wide range of sectors. This includes residential, commercial, heritage and retail projects. Ian previously studied at Leicester School of Architecture and has worked in practices in both Birmingham and Solihull, throughout his career of 40 years in Architecture.
Current & recent projects include:
Residential schemes ranging from individual bespoke dwellings, to master planning regeneration sites and a range of commercial projects, including Parigan Business Park in Peterborough and Sandy Hill Business Centre in Tamworth. Recent heritage projects, together with work on listed buildings, include Hallaton Grange in Hallaton, Wolvey Hall in Wolvey and Bourton Manor, Much Wenlock.
