This warehouse in Sharpness is the largest new build distribution warehouse that the practice has completed for its long-standing client Howard Tenens – a logistics company. The practice carried out a full architectural service from site review, planning, working drawings, tender, construction through to completion.

The building is approx. 15,000m2 (equivalent to 2 football pitches), with 20 loading docks serving its current single occupier tenant. However, the layout was designed to be able to subdivide, providing long term flexibility.
The steel structure is a hybrid, alternately propped portal frame spanning 75m and is founded on traditional column pads. It is clad in composite metal/insulation panels.
