BHB Architects consists of two well established practices in Lichfield and Cheltenham. The practices combine to offer our clients a shared resource of over 40 architectural professionals including 15 chartered architects, specialising in a wide portfolio of works.

Brownhill Hayward Brown Architects has been established for over 70 years (1946), based at our Lichfeld office. The practice is committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions which enhance the built environment whilst benefiting the user and the wider community.

The practice enjoys an established reputation for its design work which encompasses all sectors of construction. We consider the diversity of our work and specialism in both new build and conservation based projects to be key factors in our continued success. By drawing on our combined experience and knowledge we are able to offer our clients a unique and holistic service tailor-made to the requirements of the project.

Clive Petch Architects

Clive Petch Architects is a well established practice based in Cheltenham. With a principal aim to provide high quality architectural solutions to suit the clients requirements and budget, whilst also considering the needs of the final user of the building and its impact on the environment.

ANDREW HAYWARD
BA(hons) Dip.Arch (Birm) RIBA AMRSPH IMaPS SIIRSM

Andrew has been with Brownhill Hayward Brown since 1985 having previously worked for architectural practices in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Experienced in both new build and conservation projects, winning many regional and national design awards. Particular specialism in master planning and co-ordination of projects from initial client brief to completion. RIBA conservation accredited architect.

Current & recent projects include:
Dunham Massey Visitor Centre for the National Trust; JCB Golf Course Development, Rocester; Whittington Heath Golf Course (with HS2); New visitor facilities, remodelled office and production facility for Wedgwood; Approved Architect to Birmingham & Lichfield Dioceses.

MARK WILLIAMS
BA(Hons) Dip.Arch Dip.ArchPractice. RIBA

Mark joined Brownhill Hayward Brown in 1998 having studied at Plymouth School of Architecture and having worked in practices in Birmingham. He is experienced in a wide and diverse range of projects, with extensive experience in the residential sector, ranging from domestic projects to large scale strategic urban extensions.

St. Helen’s House, Derby; Deeside District Centre, (Connahs Quay); Quorn, Leicestershire; Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire; Vearse Farm, Bridport; Broadnook Garden Suburb, Rothley.

ADRIAN MATHIAS
BA(Hons) Dip.Arch.Birm. MA.Arch RIBA AABC

Adrian joined Brownhill Hayward Brown in 1999 having previously worked for architectural practices in Birmingham. Completed projects include numerous award winning new build, conservation and ecclesiastical projects. Extensive experience of works to historic buildings, sites and parks for private, public and ecclesiastical clients. Adrian has a specialism in the repair, adaptation and imaginative new use for historic buildings, including working closely with the HLF and other grant bodies.

CLIVE PETCH
BA(hons) Dip.Arch (Bristol) RIBA

Clive formed Guilor Petch Design Partnership with Ralph Guilor in 1986, and following Ralph’s retirement in 1993 continued as sole principal in Guilor Petch Architects. The name of the practice was changed to Clive Petch Architects in 1997, following which the practice has continued to undertake a wide range of diverse projects comprising residential, industrial, commercial and conservation / listed building schemes. The practice’s client base has continued to expand and includes many clients for whom we have carried out multiple projects over a period of many years.

Current & recent projects include:
Agronomy and Conference Centre for Agrii, Essex; Warehouses and offices for Howard Tenens in Sharpness, Manchester, Andover and Stroud; Listed building and residential scheme, Albion House, Gloucester; Residential care home extensions in Devon, Gloucestershire and Isle of Wight.
